Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease with a long course and a tendency to relapse. Clinical manifestations are characterized by infiltration, erythema, and scaling, which can occur throughout the body, and are more common on the scalp and extensor sides of the limbs.
Large amounts of autologous DNA and RNA are locally produced;
The formation of immune complexes activate dendritic cells;
The signaling pathways of Th1, Th22 and Th17 cells;
The cytokine productions of IFN-γ, TNF-α, IL-22 and IL-17;
The psoriasis symptoms are shown through acting on the keratinocytes.
